IVE 'Show What I Have' ATL -Review

IVE gave Atlanta DIVE [fandom name] a show-stopping performance. Watching IVE live in concert gave me a refreshing new perspective on the group. I knew they could sing and dance, but WOW. That concert was truly unexpected.

Before going to the show, I knew and enjoyed a few of their songs so when I was presented with the idea of seeing them live, I thought “Why not!" Halfway through the show, I knew I made the right decision.

When I first got to the venue, everyone looked so cute! You could tell the fans took inspiration from the group's outfits in the music video to their song LOVE DIVE. Once we were let in and everyone got to their seats, you could feel the excitement in the air.

That excitement TRIPLED when IVE came on stage. From I AM to NEXT PAGE the screams didn't stop. One thing I love about concerts is you can see just how hard artists work to put on a good show for their fans. From their stage presence to their outfits and just the overall production of the show. What I also like about K-pop concerts is how the group always makes their fans feel included by engaging in fan interactions, talking about what they did during their stay in the cities they visit, and making cute fan chants.

K-pop has come so far and the same goes for IVE. They held their first-ever world tour in a venue where their seniors also performed: BLACKPINK, TWICE, SEVENTEEN, and soon IU. And just like their respected seniors, they had perfect song arrangements and fan-enchanting unit stages. My favorite highlight was when the girls were talking about the Hawks game they attended the day before. I loved how they could see their fans, who were also basketball fans, fill up the arena.

During this tour, I'm sure they have felt the love their fans have for them. I hope they come back again because I'll be in the crowd. If you haven't seen them yet, be sure to check them out at a later date during their tour. But don’t be too sad if you can’t make it to a show because the girls will be back in America for Lollapalooza! Get your tickets while you can to see IVE!

Stay tuned for more updates :)
